Get the gang together, grab a few beers and go off the beaten track– what better way to spend the Summer break? You know it’s not going to end well.

But our carefree young twenty-somethings Ziggy (Grace Van Dien), Rich, Katie, Kimberly and Fitz don’t know that. They have the whole Summer, and their whole lives, ahead of them. And so they cross a barbed wire fence to go camping and lake swimming off-grid in unexplored forest – what could possibly go wrong…

Pretty soon they lose their way, tempers flare and the friends realise how completely alone they are. What’s more: the forest, under the spell of some strange animus, is starting to come alive around them. Even the ground seems to have its own will, opening and swallowing whole anything and anyone who dares step foot upon it. Every trembling step could be their last.
